Brunello Cucinelli got world wide famous for his colour cashmere
collections. It all started 1978 when he updated cashmere knitwear,
to pass from classic tradition to modern fashion by dyeing it in
all the colours of the rainbow. That turned the men's
cashmere sweaters into something worn by women as
well.
Brunello Cucinelli won Entrepeneur of the year award
2009 for Italy. "For his steady examination of the
psychological well-being and quality of life in the work-place, for
his passion in the recovery and restoration of historic buildings
and his commitment in promoting education and culture."
